Dana Suozzi is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health.
Dana’s approach is interactive, warm, exploratory, and supportive. She believes that trust, commitment, curiosity, and connection can allow for growth and change. Her hope for her patients is that they gain a deeper understanding and acceptance of themselves, and develop new ways of managing challenges they will face in the future.
Dana earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from New York University, her masters in Special Education and Reading from Southern Connecticut State University, and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pace University’s Clinical-Child-School Psychology program. She has received eclectic training in settings including The Grove School, the Thomas McShane Center, Four Winds Hospital, and the Jewish Child Care Association.
Dana’s orientation is psychodynamic, and influenced by attachment and relational theories. She integrates cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and mindfulness techniques into her approach.
Mariel Boyle is a is a warm and dedicated postdoctoral fellow who works with children, adolescents, and adults.
Mariel received her doctorate from the combined program in Clinical and School Psychology from Pace University. She has previously trained in community clinics, inpatient hospitals, and public schools.
Mariel has extensive experience conducting evaluations and providing therapy to people experiencing mood and anxiety challenges, major life transitions, complex trauma, attentional difficulties, and identity or personality concerns. She also has worked with many individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as those with psychotic spectrum disorders.
Mariel’s approach is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment theories, with incorporation of techniques from CBT, DBT, and values-based frameworks. She is driven by humility, kindness, and respect for all people, and emphasizes attuned, affirming care for people of all backgrounds and identities.
